My Approach in Therapy

My approach to therapy is rooted in creating a warm, safe, and supportive space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and valued. I believe that meaningful healing and personal growth happen when therapy honours the full complexity of our human experience—our thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and the deeper stories we carry within. Each session is a collaborative space, tailored to your unique needs, challenges, and goals. I draw from evidence-based modalities like Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), while also integrating a mind-body perspective and psychoeducation where helpful.
Empathy is at the core of my work. I listen deeply—not only to what is said, but also to what remains unspoken—allowing us to explore patterns, process pain, and uncover inner strengths at a pace that feels right for you. I also bring clinical professionalism, ensuring that our work together is grounded in ethical care, confidentiality, and respect.

Sessions typically last 45 minutes. The number of sessions depends on your unique goals and challenges. Some clients benefit from short-term focused work, while others choose longer-term therapy for deeper healing.
The first session is about building connection and understanding your concerns. We'll explore what brings you in, talk through your history, and begin co-creating a therapeutic plan based on your needs. It’s a gentle start—no pressure, just space to begin.

Currently, I offer therapy in English, and I’m also comfortable integrating some Hindi/Gujarati as needed in conversation to ease understanding and comfort.
